2010 National FFA Convention Housing

The 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis has the potential to be the biggest yet! And, this year, Indianapolis will provide even more hotel rooms in close proximity to the convention facilities.
The national FFA convention staff has developed a housing process that will provide:
- More rooms for individual chapters and state blocks
- Guaranteed room rates and caps on annual rate increases
- Assistance in booking rooms from experienced travel counselors at the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association.
Our convention housing process provides individual chapters an opportunity to access rooms close to the convention facilities, while still allowing state associations the freedom to organize group travel. State associations do not have an advantage over individual chapters in securing hotel rooms, and vice versa.
The Convention Housing Process
To secure hotel rooms for the national FFA convention:
- 1. Log in to MyFFA to review the 2010 Indianapolis Chapter Housing Hotel Information and the Indianapolis Chapter Housing Request Form.
- 2. Mail the completed Chapter Housing Request Form with your $50 per room non-refundable deposit to:
- 2010 National FFA Convention Housing
- P.O. Box 7248
- Indianapolis, IN 46207-7248
- 3. Include a $50 (non-refundable) deposit per room request with your Chapter Housing Request Form. You may send a check or money order made payable to the National FFA Organization or include credit card information on the housing form. (Sorry, we cannot accept purchase orders.)
We must receive all housing requests by Sept. 7, 2010.
Reservation Information
- Confirmation
Once we've received and processed your Chapter Housing Request Form, we will send a reservation confirmation via e-mail, fax or U.S. mail, depending on the contact information you provide. - Purchase Orders
You must make arrangements to pay by purchase order with the hotel directly, in advance. Some hotels do not accept purchase orders as a form of payment. - Changing your Reservations
If you have already been assigned rooms through the housing bureau and need to make changes to your assignment, please submit them in writing to:
2010 National FFA Convention Housing
P.O. Box 7248
Indianapolis, IN 46207-7248
Fax: 317-684-2492
Changes cannot be made over the phone. All changes must be sent in writing to the National FFA Convention Housing Bureau by Sept. 17. After Sept. 22, contact your hotel directly.
Cancellations made on or after Oct. 8 may result in forfeiture of deposit and additional charges of the first night room rate and tax by the hotel. - Late Arrivals
If you will be arriving after the reservation check-in day, please contact the hotel in advance to inform them of the change. Not providing advanced notice to the hotel may result in forfeiture of your deposit, a charge of one night’s room and tax rate and the loss of your rooms. - Early Departures
An early departure fee of one night’s room and tax may be charged to a guest who leaves prior to the reserved check-out date. Guests wishing to depart early can avoid this fee by alerting the hotel staff before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. You can shorten the length of your stay without penalty, as long as you make the hotel staff aware of the change before checking in. - Reserving Rooms for Other Chapters?
If you are reserving rooms for other chapters who pre-registered for convention on their own, please indicate the names of the other chapters and how many rooms are allotted to each on the Chapter Housing Request Form. We want to make sure each chapter gets their preconvention registration discount for using the National FFA Housing block. If you have already submitted your chapter form and need to update this information, please contact housing@ffa.org.
